Dame Margaret Beckett MP for Derby South
Dame Margaret Beckett is the MP for Derby South. The Constituency consists of Blagreaves, Arboretum, Normanton, Sinfin, Chellaston, Boulton and Alvaston wards.
Margaret has serviced Derby South since 1983. She was the first female Leader of the Labour Party when she became the acting Leader following the death of John Smith. She was the first female Foreign Secretary in 2006.
